Rose Pest Solutions is pleased to annouce we’re partnering with the Chicago Area Runner’s Association (CARA) again and sponsoring the Cara VIP Experience at the Palmer House Hilton on October 8th during the Chicago Marathon! We’re so proud to be able to work with CARA to support each and every one of the runners out there, even if they’re not running the marathon!
As you know by now, community means a lot to everyone at Rose. But CARA, and running in general, are particularly close to our hearts because we have quite a few staff members that are current or former CARA members who love to run for fun. We’re happy to be able to help all of you on marathon day with VIP Experience goodies like frozen ice packs, Rose scented wipes, post run snacks, and all kinds of cool giveaways to treat yourself after your big accomplishment. Everyone loves free gifts, but it’s the knowledge and experience we get to share with each and every one of you that really gets us going.
We know firsthand how much work goes into a 5k, 10k or the full 26.2-miler, and it’s not always just about the determination, drive and perserverance. It’s a lot of training. Running on the streets, the sidewalks or even the trails on a regular basis is difficult enough, so you shouldn’t have to worry about pests like mosquitoes and ticks killing your focus and screwing up your gait. This is why we’re also going to be at a couple marathon training sites in the Western Suburbs leading up to the Chicago Marathon with helpful tips and Rose gear like insect repellent wristbands and spritz pens to protect you on your training runs.
Here are the dates and locations of the tentative training sites:
- Saturday, August 19 @ 6:30am (Wheaton) Mariano’s, 625 S Main St, Wheaton, IL
- Saturday, September 9 @ 6:45am (Darien) Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, Lemont, IL
The only thing you probably want to think about right now is crossing the finish line of your next run–regardless of whether or not it’s the marathon in less than two months–so we’re here to help with any pest related problems you might be experiencing so you can focus on the important goals in front of you.
