Rose is encouraging families in our communities to participate in the Score for Charity program. Donate gently used children’s books (up to 6th grade reading level) to our branch locations in exchange for Chicago Wolves ticket vouchers from now through the end of the Wolves’ season.
Score for Charity
Rose Pest Solutions has been partners with the Chicago Wolves for 3 years. As part of their Score For Charity program, each year we team up with a Wolves goalie to help raise money for Bernie’s Book Bank, a local charity in Lake Bluff. For every save our goalie makes during a game, we donate money for a set a 12 books that would be distributed to at-risk youth throughout Chicagoland.
On February 20th, about 10,000 school kids from all over Chicagoland came to cheer on the Wolves on School Game Day. Rose and Bernie’s had some fun games and giveaways on the concourse while collecting book donations from various schools that day. Special thanks to everyone that donated books that day and especially all the kids helping other kids!!
Where to Donate Books
Rose’s Northfield, Wheeling, Lombard, and Chicago branches are official Bernie’s Book Bank Donation Location spots all year round. From now through the end of the Wolves 2019-2020 season, Rose is offering 1 (one) Wolves ticket voucher for every 6 gently used children’s books donated.
