Northwestern Football, Basketball and Rose Pest Solutions
We had great success with our Books For Buckets program this year with the help of our friends at Northwestern! With school being moved online, we had to get creative. Trying to think of ways we could get kids more involved, we started thinking back on when we were growing up… and a reading literacy book challenge came to mind. With prizes, of course! We had so much fun putting this all together and feel so lucky that we had such genuine excitement and participation.
The grand prize consisted of an adorable butterfly habitat filled with small promotional items like ice packs, pencils, magnets, etc. Thank you to all our 240 little ones who participated so wholeheartedly and the extra determined 63 readers who received the grand prize. We hope you had fun and maybe even learned something along the way. We so appreciate your support and can’t WAIT to do it again next year. ❤️
Adapting to Support Our Community
Rose and Northwestern couldn’t let a global pandemic interrupt our Books For Buckets campaign. This year has been a tough one, to say the least. Finding a way to give back and continually express our gratitude to the community that gives us so much was one of our utmost priorities. So, like much of this year, we adapted.
Big Ten
Join us in sporting our WildCats as they compete in the Big Ten! As we make the transition from basketball to Northwestern football season we will be transitioning from Books For Buckets to Books For Boots as we cheer on the Wildcats into the postseason with the Big 10 game on Saturday next week!
Book Drop-Off Locations
Rose Pest Solutions will also still be hosting multiple book donation drop-offs within our own facilities to make donating from within your neighborhood even more accessible. Just make sure to wear a mask when dropping off. 😷
