Spotted Lanternfly

Our remedy for spotted lanternfly control

First of all, contact us. The key to controlling a spotted lanternfly population is to focus on prevention as best as you can. So, if you see one, smash it. Prevention timing is everything, too. Before crops are harvested and these pests are displaced, prepare the exterior of your home. Seal as many cracks and holes on the outside as possible, especially on the south and west walls where the sun heats the home during the late summer and fall.

Check out our Healthy Home Maintenance Plan coverage to control these and other occasional invaders.

“Once the temps dropped in the Fall, the bugs started coming in, Asian lady beetles, stink bugs and boxelder bugs.”

“We purchased our house last summer (2016). We live close to the forest preserves, in a heavy tree village. Once the temps dropped in the Fall, the bugs started coming in, Asian lady beetles, stink bugs and box elder bugs. Then mice found a way in under out sun porch, EEK! Our realtor recommended Rose Pest Solutions to us, and we called to set up an appointment. They quickly sent out our technician, his name is Vance. Vance is the epitome of what every company wants in an employee. His customer service is top notch, he works quietly, effectively and efficiently. He precisely inspected both inside & outside of the house and found every little opening to get into our house from the outside and inspected the inside to find every opening they could get in. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and I am once again comfortable in my home. Thank you Vance!”
